Another outlaw mission idea.

 Decoy. 8) The outlaw base has been providing refuge for an infamous but retired swashbuckling criminal, the Stainless Steel Gerbil, who is wanted on countless charges of dacoity and smuggling. Unfortunately, his location has been traced to the outlaw base, and they need to shift him - quickly...

I have seen a couple of the enemy bases that feature late in the game regenerate. Can't remember which ones though, and its a non-issue.

They still die.

I think escort missions have their place, but there is just too many of them, and they repeat. The Korolov escort and massage service have a bunch, and then you escort some more with a commonwealth fortress, and then some more further down the track too... They fill a good part of the game at the mo...

Another idea for a mission

 This is kinda similar to the previous mission I proposed, and this one is definitly aimed at being an outlaw mission and is pretty basic really. Those guys need more missions. Operation: Trojan The Black Market gives you a crate labled Hamburgerkött weighing 10tons and orders you to drop it n...

How did people find out about the game in the first place? I discovered the game in Wikipedia, after reading through a list of roguelike games http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_roguelikes

Near the bottom, between Tomeko and Zangband
Its, er, alphabetical.

I don't doubt that it is possible, its probably quite easy to programme, but unless there is a reason to pay someone to take something, there is no point. Jettison. Jettison. Jettison. I seem to recall that in Elite Frontier (which I confess I never actually played myself), certain space colonies wo...

Thank you for your comments valued customer. Yes, unfortunately we have sustained a cyber-attack, but our technicians are on the job! In response to your questions, *No, the device will not safely reprocess radioactive waste! Don't even try. *Yes, foodstuffs can be processed to become fine grade mus...

This would only work if there was some penalty for jettisoning that item, Or maybe you picked up and opened a barrel of adhesive gel which fixed itself to your cargo hold.

100 credit fee for solvents, manpower and disposal.

I'm pretty sure that the white asteroids do very rarely have ore...just lower grade and less frequently than grey or red ones. This be true. Usually not worth mining but only in a pinch. It's certainly harder to find ore in them, but I don't think the grade is any worse. I just got a few tons of Du...

Sure, as long as you get to kill someone.

The more I think about it, the more this mission suits the black market, but I'm just not sure who they would have such a vendetta on that the player would be willing to risk the mission.

A rival drug dealer maybe. Start a turf war.

Idea for a mission

 I was thinking that a mission that would be quite neat would be if there was a second Charon Fortress, perhaps secreted away early in the game (something to avoid). The fortress would be much tougher than the one in Charon, not necessarily with better weapons, but superb shields and armour (c...

1) If you think you have a good idea, make a new topic about it. (though stellar phenomenae have been talked about often, try anyway). 2) Earth was obliterated, long ago. 1) Yep, those topics have all been brought up before, and the more they are brought up, the more likely they are to be acted on ...

I think the game could be enhanced with inclusion of stellar phenomena and interesting constructs.

Black holes.
Binary star systems.
Dyson spheres or rings.
Earth? The prospect of going backwards from Eridani would be interesting
