Transcendence 1.0

I'm just enquiring how far off this is exactly, and how many changes there will be from the current version. Will there be any particularly significant developments, or is the current version a nearly complete version?

More Black Market missions please!

I've found that a great way to preserve money in the early game is to install solar armour, don't know if that will help you much though.

It might be worth experimenting with an Akan 600, especially if you are flush with money. Generally I buy one when I can and carry around about 1000 shells for it. When you encounter a Ranx base, leave it alive but farm their little fighters for Akan shells  Enhancing the akan with hexagene bo...

I just finished him off for the second time, took about two minutes, tops.

Used a +150% IM90, and an optimised Lamplighter.

I got an intact alien device weighing 100tons from the wreck. Is there any place you can install it?

I would like to see an "outlaw group", or dacoits that you can ally with. They would be opposed to those fascists, the Commonwealth, and they could install military devices without you having to own the military ID chip. They would be harder to find though, generally around the very edges of the sol...

Goddam I love that movie

Ahem... The Duty Officer asked General Ripper to confirm the fact that he *had* issued the go code, and he said, uh, "Yes gentlemen, they are on their way in, and no one can bring them back. For the sake of our country, and our way of life, I suggest you get the rest of SAC in after them. Otherwise,...

Transcendence, Dr Strangelove connection.

I noticed recently during some mining that I had extracted some Cobalt Thorium. As near as I know, there is no such real material, but Cobalt Thorium G featured in Dr Strangelove. "Cobalt thorium G has a radioactive halflife of ninety three years. If you take, say, fifty H-bombs in the hundred megat...

Can the laser collimator or cannon accelerator stack with damage enhancing bonuses, if so, how does it work? If you used a 150% x-ray laser combined with a collimator, will you do 250% damage, 300% damage or some other figure entirely? I used the x-ray laser (in this case, enhanced with the enhancem...

Iocrym Creep

I finally got the geek! Flying in circles around him (with the inertialess drive), I cut him down with the 3-way-ion-omni-thing enhanced at 150%, alternating by charging at him the other weapon, that Longzhu one. Once the shield came down, carving him up was a piece of pie. Took about 10 minutes fro...

However, you can't seem to use a Weapon Enhancement ROM on a weapon that has been enhanced. You can't use a hexagen booster and the enhancement ROM on an Akan for example and benefit from both.

Actually... it means Dragon Scale.
Long- Dragon
Zhu-Scale

Ball is something like...cheo or something.
You made my chinese, chinese-speaking girlfriend splutter in dissagreement. Zhu means ball/sphere.

"Lin" means scale.

Mining is fun, once you figure out how to do it. I think an option at one of the mining stations instucting you on how to do it would be useful.

Have a whiskey with a grizled old miner or something

To be honest, I generally give up mining after St K's or so.
