 Just happened to me. The game crashed about 6 or 7 times over the course of an hour, before finally crashing after a stargate and I wasn't able to use the save file. The only noticable event in my game that I think could cause the crashing was fitting a single segment of double titanium barric...

You can save money by buying at least one unit of solar armour or a solar array. Go and sit on the sun, turn off anything that eats power, hit the autopilot and read a book until your reactor is fully charged. But don't throw away all that lovely He3. There are places that pay very good money for it...

A small thing that could be fixed in the interest of polishing is capitalising the segments of armour that aren't already.

Example, I have a unit of quadrocarbide, and three units of Duralloy

Bug: Crash when using broken data ROM

I don't know how, but Vaughns Data ROM was damaged. Decided to try and use it (what the hell... why not...) and the game crashed.

When I reloaded, the ROM was undamaged.

Spectacular crash

I destroyed a Centaurian base which was surrounded by asteroids. It shot out its remains in all directions, and a couple of bits hit asteroids. And then the asteroids started spitting out little pieces of asteroids, which hit other asteroids... Within the space of about two seconds there wer...

Bug: Disappearing autons

I had a bunch of autons, including 3 mules carrying a whole lot of lovely loot (something like 20 units of duralloy armour, and my Black Market ID Chip) who have ceased to exist. The situation, I had them all waiting near the gate while I explored the system. My ship was destroyed, but came back as ...

What do you call your ship?

I noticed similar behaviour from the Drakes in Charon system. After they destroyed the korolov base, they circled the stargate rather than exiting it...

... until I murdered them.

Bug: Failure to dock

I have to escort an EI100 freighter to a base and back again, but its just circling the base, occasionally getting attacked. Fortunately I can continue the missions at another korolov. I like this version, but its pretty buggy. Looking forward to 0.99a :D Correction: EI200. And it just happened a se...

I've been too wrapped up in work, study and sport to play Transcendence, but I just sprained my ankle, so guess what I'll be doing all weekend...?
