I have my own domain/hosting, I was actually going to offer you the same :P

I have pretty much unlimited bandwidth (considering the traffic possible versus my limit, there's no comparison) to take into account, so don't be afraid to ask if you need anything.

So I opened up Photoshop, meddled for an hour, and was rather satisfied. Before I sliced and whatnot, I decided to check out the other two sites that I know of (Transcendence Blog and the Mod site), and decided that mine looked exactly the same. So this time, I think I'm going to create a site for a...

Are you using 3dsmax? I realise that any skilled person can make one program just as useful as another, but I'm just curious to know :)

Any chance of high-resolution pictures of ships? Or are you going to make us render them ourselves =]

And the images themselves have to be oriented center and the background has to be a perfect square?

The problem with making another site for mods is that there is already one. I have no problem doing it, but it would be a bit redundant at times.

Update! Woot! int numImages = numRows * numCols; double degreesPerRotation = 360.0 / numImages; That little snippet is from the source of the 2d/zenith rotator - This means that the program will indeed work with Transcendence. Simply change the number of column/rows (the program will prompt you) to ...

Would you mind at all if I made a few Transcendence wallpapers? It's your game, your property, so I don't have any intention to infringe =].

Alright - both of the programs I listed are at 9 degrees per rotation (I do believe, let me check later). The Java one is open source, so if I had an IDE it wouldn't be too hard to find out how to change the number of rotations and how many degrees per rotation. Will Dev-Cpp work with Java apps? Edi...

That'd be a cool way to start - but what else?

Transcendence Fansites

I do a bit of graphics work myself, so I've always thought it would be cool to do a TRANS fansite. At the moment, though, I would have no idea what to do with it.

So, what would you like to see on a fansite?

How many rotations are there per 360 degrees? How many degrees per rotation? If I were to model a ship in Blender, a Python script could easily be written to make the ship rotations, or, from a rather similar game, a ship rotater (completely 2d, zenith perspective) could be used. Such rotators for t...
