Maybe I'm still not getting what you mean, but I think you explained it better there and I think I did. I suppose the problem with my understanding may be that what you're asking is so inherantly easy in xslt that I don't see why it would ever be a problem. Or perhaps I don't know enough about trans...

First off, it's been a good 3 years since I've done much with XML on anything above a "tinkering" level. So while I'm confident that I will be able to make this work with xslt, it's not going to be fast at first while I rediscover how to do this. (Plus, xslt 2.0 has come out, so I'm briefly looking ...

That's essentially what I'm asking bimbel. I don't know enough about Dokuwiki to know how it would be best to generate the output. I could go check I suppose, but if someone already knows then that would save me time.

So it occurs to me that manually copy-and-pasting data from the transdata .xml outputted files into a format to put onto the wiki is both tedious and boring. I could probably write an xslt to turn the output from the weapons, items, or whatever similar .xml files into properly formatted docuwiki cod...
