The biggest problem I see with that is both coming up with, and assigning these frequencies. I mean, what determines them, what are they? Does different shield types have different wavelengths? Are some one level of Hertz (or what have you) while others a higher or lower level? Then there's the powe...

Transparent, or not, if there is still background, and objects within visual range, they would still need to be displayed as passing by rather quickly. While, I believe that up to a certain point, the game can follow, or track rather, I think once it hits some particular "speed" it just doesn't have...

As they said, it's already been done, but technically it isn't a "warp" drive, but an FTL Jumpdrive. Sometimes referred to as a Zero Point Jump drive. Missleadingly so, but nontheless. No, a warp drive would be something such that it can equivalently "jump" to its desired speed, above .99c, then upo...

Another Interesting game
So, I generally troll the net looking for something to do, play, have fun, etc., etc. And one place that I check frequently, JayIsGames, listed this weekend a little platformer that is specifically stated as being a beta with no true intent on completing. Holdover is an intriguing game set in a quas...

Heh, even better, the "Teraton Thingamajig" could be a small enough craft to be used in the figther carrier mods. The "tubs" can be a (heh) modification to the 'fighter' as a penetrator. Boarding ship. Mainly militant in use, but with a small cargo space could probably loot like some ton or three fr...

Problem with ram-scoop tech is that when sitting still there's next to nothing being collected, so you're probably getting less that 10% efficiency operational capacity, and even when moving, through normal space, still only getting 50% at best, less than that through asteroid fields... And then, de...

scuttle wrecks now works from an extension! incomplete? because it was 98d? Eh, not specifically, no. Namely that the older version required manual input for any version other than the one it was originally written for. And I couldn't figure out how to manipulate the source xmls. As for the "strong...

Cool, thanks, and no rush. Wouldn't want you spending to much time debugging it. :P And I imagine a whole new adventure mod would take time and patience. And as soon as I figure out how to usurp station settings I'm going to fix an annoyance with other stations and available items as well. Thankfull...

Cross Eyed Gamer, wanting new shinnies.
Well, I would be cross eyed if I tried to update the mods I'm interested in myself. Simply put, from what I have been able to figure out about modding, there are still a few mods that aren't included in the standard game. Many of them, oddly enough, are for older versions, as many as 8 versions back...
