Some of these issues are related to features being discussed for the trade computer . It doesn't appear there's an event when the player undocks. In the next beta version it will be possible to check whether the player has docked with an object, but not yet. How about just including all known object...

So if a 120 facings image of a black number '1' with a transparent background was created could this image be overlayed on a ship to rotate with it? Yes, that seems like it would work. Though due to the way ships are rendered it might not seem to be on exactly the same part of the ship as it rotate...

Exclusion distance isn't checked when creating a station with sysCreateStation. (What would it do? Not create the station? Put it somewhere other than the specified position?) If you use sysGetRandomLocation and pass the type of the station, I think it will respect that station's exclusionRadius and...

I don't think it's possible in Transcendence to have text that rotates without prerendering an image of the text for each facing. As you know, you can attach nonrotating text overlays. And for mules, you can already give them unique names and display them all by opening the comms menu.

Looking at the code, it turns out Foundation is actually the same as Federation/constructive order. Competitor/neutral and other alignments that say they're the same as Foundation are what Foundation says it is, but not what it actually is.

You could kill the Sandstorm with a radius damage weapon (Lucifer for NAMI launcher, High-flux MAG, M2 and M5 for NAMI Heavy, XM900 missile pod) by firing when you're very close to it. There is not currently a way to interact with this in TLisp. When the player docks with something, the SetExplored() function is called and sets m_fExplored to true.
