Re: Any way to remove mods?

Actually yes. You can’t remove it from your collection entirely, but you can disable it from being downloaded on the computer you’re currently using. When you start the game and login, click on the “Mod Collection” button at the top. From there, click on the mod or expansion you don’t want to downl...

More seriously though, yeah, I figured I should get this one up in a timely manner, seeing as I missed the last two API versions altogether.

Re: Questions about saved games

You know, it helps to read the entirety of a post to get its context.  I was specifically taking the one line that encapsulated what I was taking issue with, rather than just blockquoting your entire post. The game is not a 4X, if for no other reason than that there is no empire you control to eXpa...

Re: Questions about saved games

But as a 4X game, which many old and popular space games are then this one falls on its face.  That’s because it isn’t a 4X game. It never has been. You are trying to play baseball in the middle a football game. The tactics and mechanics you might be used to in a 4X aren’t necessarily going to tran...

Re: Questions about saved games

The saving used by Transcendence is pretty standard behavior in most rogue-likes, which were a major source of George’s inspiration when he made the game.

One minor addendum to making backups of your saves: Make sure you save out to the main menu before you make your backup.

Re: Erial's starter questions

11) personal Stash  Not exactly, but not exactly not, either. Technically you can use any shipwreck or abandoned station, but you risk losing your goods to looters (shipwrecks only, and even then only close to stations) or salvagers (who loot anything and everything). The exception to this is radio...

Re: Erial's starter questions

Welcome aboard, and always glad to have another player on the forum. ^.^  Let’s see, I can answer most of these, I think: 1) what do i do with damaged weapons ?  This is actually a more interesting question than you might think. On the current stable version of Transcendence, the answer is either s...

Try using https://transcendence.kronosaur.com instead. I just checked it and that seems to be working just fine.

Re: Storyline in Eternity Port

Yep, he confirmed it and showed it off on the first stream this month. It’s going to require a bit of topology work in TBR due to adding a new connection to Rigel Aurelius, but that’s my problem…

Re: Storyline in Eternity Port

He’s adding The Near Stars topology to Stars of the Pilgrim as an expansion option for to add for anybody who has the Eternity Port adventure. It’s apparently going to work similar to Corporate Command, in that you have the option to include or exclude it upon starting up a new game. It will also a...

Re: George's hi-res renders of Transcendence Ships

I find it more likely to be due to having a son less than a month old. While I’ve never personally been in that position, I expect it’s one helluva time sink, heh.

He wasn’t able to get one done this past week, no.
