Re: Offline Functionality

I have already made a Ministry ticket for this (almost 2 years ago) http://ministry.kronosaur.com/record.hexm?id=1373

Re: Targeting system changes

If I target something, I expect my guns or missiles to go there. If they don't I consider them defective.

So I think the current targetting is defective. Please restore the old behavior.
So I'm totally in line with PM on this issue.

Re: How to target a "friendly" enemy? (rescuing katami in ar

Also, Korolov missions don't run out until you destroy the Charon headquarters in the system. It can also happen that there are no missions available because there are no freighters to escort, or when you do not have enough Korolov rank to escort the freighters that are available. The first situati...

Re: Slow down time while in Use or Invoke Menu?

I like the idea! And also agree with Xephyr, for experienced players it might become somewhat to easy. :?: Perhaps implement it as an "easy mode" for beginners? That could be expanded upon to make the game more accessible for first time players, like maybe nerf enemies a little bit so they are easie...

Re: Upgrade path (St.K's)

Sapiens doesn't prove to be a threat due uncommon after Sanctuary. If you have a nice shield, then you should not to worry. TheLoneWolf flies a Manticore. Probably without a shield because of the armour repairer and the penalty a shield gets on the Manticore. So a stray hit from an Actinide Waste C...

Only if you don't mind that it is vulnerable for radiation. All other armors of the same level are radiation immune. Other than that it is pretty decent.

Re: Upgrade path (St.K's)

The Tritium Cannon is not bad for short range Thermo damage. So if you like fighting at close range and can tank damage you'll be fine. It does less damage per shot then the MK-V, but has a double the firerate to make up for that. It does this however at the cost of more reactor power use then any o...

Maybe it will work if you make it an enhancer instead of an enChancer ?

Re: Late game

Your setup is fine for the endgame. But here are some tips: Rasiermesser launcher, good launcher for the endgame. Let Domina enhance it +40% for you and it will destroy anything with ease. For the missiles, remember where the last Rasiermesser factory is and use the jumpdrive on stargates to get the...

Re: Brexit, North Atlantic Union, and Transcendence Geopolit

But big geopolitical events (like UK leaving the EU) don't happen that often. Once per decade at most. As long as we're compatible with those, I think we're fine. Especially when you think of it as the beginning of the collapse of the EU, which is what many people hope the BREXIT will be. This is m...

How about using ffmpeg for recording? The following will record your entire screen and audio in an mp4 container (assuming you use Windows, it's different for linux) ffmpeg -f dshow -i video="UScreenCapture" -f dshow -i audio="Microphone" output.mp4 Or if you just want the contents of the skype wind...

Re: MAG launchers

Oh, so you can be hit by your own missiles. Does this only apply to MAGs and mines because I remember flying into my own Ares nuke which didn't cause it to detonate??? There are certain types of ammunition that have some sort of safety trigger that prevents them from detonating within a certain rad...

Re: MAG launchers

I do use the MAG launcher often, most with the EI500 and the Osaka freighters. Altough it does not have much range because of the slow speed of its genades, the grenade has a long life and enemies that come towards you will meet a wall of grenades that pack a heavy punch. The ZG24 cluster MAG is ver...

Re: Discussion: Radiation overhaul possibilities.

To a certain point you're right Shrike. given enough time radiation can destroy everything. The higher the dose, the faster it destroys. Fukushima is at the extreme end of radiation as you would aspect of a nuclear powerplant. However a very high dose destroys most lifeforms in hours to days, but a ...

Re: Strafer

Sounds like an enhanced inertialess drive. This does something like that, but only in the direction the ship is heading.

You need to find a way to change between strafing and pointing... Could be a key to toggle this?
