That's what is wonky... the software does not acknowledge the .saved file despite the correct directory :evil:

Thanks on the welcome back :D I come and I go- so much to see and do :!:

This is the newer incarnation of Anacreon, the 2.1d version. A saved game is saved as a ".(dot)SAVED" file. Crazy thing is I can't get the software to recognize it's own file.

Anacreon SAVED files

I've run into this problem while searching both official and unofficial forums, though I've not been able to solve the problem. Anacreon does not recognized it's own .SAVED files... at least on my pc. I follow the saved file location to the "documents and settings" folder, and confirm the file exist...

A trivial thing really; while I get that the # of star systems is randomly generated per game, it would be nice to be able to access an "evolving" map showing the linking of systems as they are 'discovered'- in order to be able to easily backtrack if needed.

Stumbled upon Transcendence- nice work and so close to a ver. 1.0!
