This one is minor to the point of ridiculousness, but it’s shown up a few times for me, now, so I figure I may as well toss it up here. I wrote a graphics replacement mod for ships. Nothing against the original graphics by any means, it was the start of a more ambitious mod to overwrite all of the...

RPC advised me to post some unusual behavior I’ve uncovered over here, so I am. There are a few things I’ve run into in the process of trying to make a non-uninstallable weapon: — As near as I can tell, <CanBeUninstalled> is not called when a station removes one weapon to make room for another one...
I have yet to have any success with the “overwriting” issue, but I have uncovered some rather… odd behavior while trying to kludge my way through a workaround. Setting the ship’s maxweaponslots value to “0” and adjusting the “built-in” launcher’s deviceslots to “-2” didn’t help, and in fact allowe...

I run on Linux Mint 14 Nadia, myself, using WINE 1.4.1. It’s always worked just fine for me for logging into Multiverse, and is what I was using when I downloaded both Corporate Command and the Osaka.

I started with 1.1.0, and after having played it a few dozen times, now, I’m guessing I probably had one of the luckiest first runs in the history of Transcendence. I went with a Sapphire to start off in. Starton had a cannon accelerator. After dealing with Vaughn (and equipping his dual recoilles...
Do you use/know a 3D software not in this list ? Post about it! Alright, I will: POV-Ray . It’s free software released under the AGPL license. If you’re used to meshes and modelers with anything even remotely resembling a GUI, this is probably not going to be the program for you. You don’t get to...
If you want to check if this event is being called then use this and look at debuglog: <Events> <CanBeUninstalled> (block nil (PrintTo 'log "Is this being used at all?") ) </CanBeUninstalled> </Events> If 'Is this being used at all?' is not showing in the debuglog then this event is not being run/ ...
That was just the latest attempt, modeled after something else I had found through searching. If I put every syntax variation I’ve tried up over here, we’d be scrolling for a while. I’ve tried putting stuff in <CanBeUninstalled>, <OnUninstall>, and <OnUninstalled> to prevent removal. At one point, ...

I've run into a bug with Anton Nasser once. On the mission where he asks you to follow him to attack a chimera station, he didn't move. He just kept wiggling back and forth but stayed in the same place. The station did appear on the map. I ran into this one earlier today, myself, in the Anaxas sys...
Basically, I’m trying to make one as a built-in weapon — a launcher, specifically — on a ship I’m working on. I’ve tried… here, let me just do this, it’ll be easlier: <Events> <CanBeUninstalled> (block nil (setq return "This weapon is an integrated part of the hull and cannot be removed.") ) return...
