I repeated the circumstances that caused one of the "On Animate" crashes (lifting the event horizon in Heretic) and this time I got debug code instead of a crash.

Naturally, I found three Shrouds at a single Luminous Assembler shortly after posting this, lol.

EP: Never Ending Gate Animation

I'm running 1.8 beta 5.2, playing EP in a Kaiten-class gunship. For no immediately apparent reason, the warp gate animation between two systems I had already visited never stopped. I had to force the game to close and lose a permadeath run.

My debug log is attached.

Looking forward to trying this. The library downloads seem to work fine for me.

Are the game crashes caused by "miscellaneous animation" fixed in this version? I see these crashes on Ministry tagged with "next release" but not tagged with "1.8b5". I think that's a showstopper bug.

@Song: Thanks for splitting this off and naming what still needs to happen.

@Derakon: Good to know, thanks. I recall that things got a little better with super-heavy Novaya armor, although it still seemed to be flashing for relatively trivial damage.

Gosh, that's convoluted. Wouldn't it be simpler to start with an ion immune tag (along with the regen tag) straight off of the armor forge? And include in the armor description that "taking fire from ion weapons causes it to regenerate" or something to that effect?

As titled, here are 3 bugs in Eternity Port. There are no other mods running. My ship is a Spartan. 1.) Attempting to use the jettison hack always fails and causes a debug message.
