Though I'd have to say, a main aspect of games like Transcendence is that these weak and useless weapons are meant to be there, for the player to figure out that they are and then sell them.

I did work on some 64GB ram machines when I did work experience at a university... they had three/four dual core processors each... *drool*

But seriously, I've gotten by easily with 512MB so far for about five years, so...
