Though I'd have to say, a main aspect of games like Transcendence is that these weak and useless weapons are meant to be there, for the player to figure out that they are and then sell them.

Every object pops onto the screen, AFAIK, including planets and such (but not stars...).

I'll probably get a couple of gigs or more, depending on whether I go for 800MHz or 1066MHz.

I did work on some 64GB ram machines when I did work experience at a university... they had three/four dual core processors each... *drool*

But seriously, I've gotten by easily with 512MB so far for about five years, so...
