Re: Ship resources
I agree that all ships should have 40 facings. Especially because many large ships have very choppy turning (Phobos is probably the worst in that regard) and it takes away from the otherwise impressively rendered ship models.

Titanium ore is common as dirt in Transcendence. Add that to the fact that the ore will probably need to be refined to remove impurities, and I think $10 for 56kg is pretty realistic.

Re: Curiosity - What IAV stands for?
No, most people would likely not leave their station enough to warrant having their own ship. Food and supplies would be shipped in by corporate shipping companies, meaning people wouldn't have to go anywhere for basic nesessities. If they did want to go to a different station, people would most lik...

Also, warhammers are really long ranged. You can shoot them at stuff far beyond the maximum scan distance of the LRS
I wasn't aware they could be fabricated though, thanks for letting me know

Re: Curiosity - What IAV stands for?
I figured the IAVs were initially serviceships of some kind (possibly for manouvreing repair plates onto the armour segments of truly massive ships such as superfreighters). Then one day someone made a cheap spaceship out of the hull of a serviceship by adding a reactor, fusion drive, armour, and a ...

I'm pretty sure there aren't any NAMI manufacturing plants perhaps what you saw was a Rasiermesser or Makayev plant?

Re: Decontamination
I've been irradiated hundreds of times but the last time was the only time I'd ever died from it. I visited a Commonwealth colony with about 100 seconds left, but they didn't acknowledge the fact that I was contaminated. So I left and began desperately searching for another place to get deconned, bu...

Decontamination
Isn't Commonwealth Customs supposed to automatically decontaminate your ship after exposure to radiation?

Re: What do YOU want in 1.07?
I don't think we need a new insurance company, or that Clavius needs to be able to resurrect in those systems, just that they make it clear they can't resurrect everywhere, likely through the arorementioned disclaimer.

Re: What do YOU want in 1.07?
Clavius is pretty vague about how their insurance works, promising full resurrection in the event of death, but not giving much info on how the process works or any info about the possibility of them not being able to ressurect. From what they say, it's implied that they will unfailingly process you...

Re: Human Ship Origins
p.s.: I don't want to add too much detail to the 21st century history of the Transcendence universe for fear of being proven wrong in my lifetime. I generally assume works of fiction to take place in different continuities than the one we're in :P But that's probably a good policy. And I like the i...

Re: Human Ship Origins
I realise that NAMI is a company, and that they make all manner of shields and weaponry and ships, but why are the letters (NAMI) capitalised? Do they stand for anything?

Re: Something is Missing!!!
I thought Elysium was some sort of military base, with rapid access to any part of the QZ, and limited access to Elysium itself (to prevent counterstrikes and such). Whoever built the Iocrym (the Iocrym are just AIs right?) would have built Elysium (and Tan-Ru-Dorem, which apparently has a massive d...

Re: What do YOU want in 1.07?
I think the insurance stations should make it clear that they don't ressurect in systems Corporate cruisers can't get to (Huaramarca and Elysium).
