Re: Getting started with git and github
Git is easier on *nix, in my experience. I work with Ubuntu 18 too for webservers and git runs great on there. It's built into my IDE (PHPStorm) - not sure what's available in the Ubuntu realm for IDE but you might check out Atom.io if you want to give a free, integrated app a try.

Re: 1.9 Beta 2
Is this going to percolate through to a steam update? I'm on the beta branch but it's 1.9 beta 1a so seems like it hasn't caught up yet.

Re: PM's mods
You've done great work! Been checking out your mods and really enjoying the tricks you have come up with. Ore scooper! Brilliant! Power Ups too?! Awesome! Gave me some great ideas to play around with, thanks.

Adventure Extensions
Hello again!
Been a while, lots of things appear to have changed. How far have the adventure extensions come? Are there still portions of the source XML that aren't being exposed to modding (requiring running unpacked source)?

Re: History of the community.
hmm... wow, it has been a long time since the UTF days.. lol
It's an interesting walk down memory lane to think back to some of the mod ideas that were going around a few years ago in comparison to what we are doing lately.

Re: Transcendence Multiverse Development Kit
That would be really cool, Wolfy. It would be fun to see some script modules and other plug-in type resources from the community to fill out the options.

Transcendence Multiverse Development Kit
The Transcendence Multiverse development kit is provided as a skeleton framework that the transcendence game engine can use to be the starting point for you to make entirely new game content that you can then expand on, make mods for, and develop into a fully featured game universe. It has been exte...

Hey George, I just installed phpBB 3.0.8 here and read up on the theme packages. Too easy. Can I use the main site as a resource/style guide to build a theme for you to try out?

Ttech - I have the dropbox thingy hooked up, and think there are already some files in there to peruse, the Sandobox project sounds interesting, however - it seemed to me that any projects of that kind could make use of the shiva principle, that is to say - before you create, you must first destroy....

1.04 and Beyond - Thoughts on Transcendence Modding
Over the past few weeks I have been re-acquainting myself with the transcendence game engine after a break of nearly 2 years from actively releasing mods. Transcendence has grown a lot, and George has added nearly all the features that I had ever come up with or whimsically thought would make the ga...

What do reckon I should be called? Late for dinner. Titles? Really? Like.. nicknames, ranks and post counts are already too much for this ole forum software to handle, throw in titles and the whole thang might collapse into itself and form a mini black hole that would obviously swallow the earth im...
