Making ferians not give loot doesn't make mining any better. In EP it may make it worse since you seem to need to both mine and farm ferians to get enough of the rare ores for the armor fabricator to outfit yourself with anything high level at a level when it's still useful. Some weapons in my mods are swivel (usually limited to twenty degrees). Then, Playership Drones v6 had ships with swivels because original ships have swivels. The dodging issue isn't separate from the hit rate issue. You only hit more against small targets that are usually harmless or if you're dodging. And you can dodge and fire a non-omni weapon. Definitely agree on buffing the RDN. Multiple kilotons would look sort of ridiculous(and wouldn't solve the problem of the Kiloton being underpowered), so I'd say buffing its range and damage to the point where it'd be a threat again is the best way of going about this. It already has 120 ls range....

Damagetypes higher than ion/thermo have few to no enhancers. This makes it nearly impossible for some of them to compete. I would suggest we need formulas as a function of angle for both swivel/omni and particles/spread/inaccurate weapons. These types aren't very rigorously balanced. If we can figure out what's right for spread that would tell us what's actually right for fragmentation, which nobody seems to know yet, ...

Duralloy's regeneration is irrelevant compared to any other regeneration source. It's okay if you're in a non-manticore and plan on sitting around on stars or planets with a solar panel, but otherwise the regeneration may as well not be there.

From what you say and their raw stats, they seem balanced enough, but I, at least, was discouraged from using them by the lack of supply.
