I agree. I've played many many games and only once did I find those pods. They were at a Teraton Research Center... freaky! I didn't bother buying them as I figured just a handfull wouldn't be enough to do anything worth while. I just checked the Teraton base code and George has placed a level 9 for...

Actually, you can kill Salvengers and not get penalized-at least, not arrested anyway. I kill them all just for the loot of it.

Ya, gotta love those big tugs! They'll take a pounding before they get killed and their loot is worthy of docking for.

Ya know, all these corrupted files issues may not even be due to corrupted DL's, but instead, may be due to the zipping proggies themselves. No zip prog is 100% defect-free and may cause a file to go corrupt during the extraction (or even the compression) process. Perhaps if one were to try several ...

Yep, neb-lag is expected due to its heavy use of VRAM. There are several things you can do to help cut some of the lag out: 1) Reduce video display to 800x600 2) Reduce 24-32 bit display to 16 bit 3) Close out any additional programs before running Trans 4) Before loading Trans, close out ALL unnece...

I like the idea of not always being able to obtain a QAC. Sometimes I'll never see one while other times, I might loot 2-3 of them in one game. As for those Kytryn pods, they do indeed exist in the game but they're extremely rare to find. I've seen maybe 4 or 5 of them in one system but never again....

I just ripped the RoninC and added secondaryWeapon="true" on the NAMI- It corrected the problem of not firing missiles. However, now it will continue to fire only missiles until they're depleted, then it will use the cannon afterward. This also effects the outcome of "The encounter at Charon" as mor...

Yugi, yep, it was the Transcendence xml's and I don't think the page bumping was due to your files. Could have been IE itself. At any rate, I registered and logged in so I could upload some of my mods and wanted to test the DL's as well. Bimbel, you're only allowing the uploading of ZIP files? Is it...

Gotta love it. The game is never the same and as it should be in space, one is always at risk. Like trying to find fuel, same goes with reloadable weapons-Ammo...It's a chance of luck! So try to buy, find and scavenge early for things you will need later on. And of course, if your ship can handle a ...

I just tested a download-Yugi's Trans~XML file and it worked just fine, however, upon DL, the site page dissapeared completely. This normal? Are we gonnaHavTa reload and log in each and every time we DL a file?

BTW, I used MicroShaft's IE as AOL doesn't seem to be very compatible.

I've also had a similar experience with docking with a derelict and it looked like I was docking with a live ship. It ended up that I was really docked with the derelict, but I was right next to the live one while the derelict was a couple docking ports away. If it happens again, notice what ship ha...

New mods but...

...I don't have a web site to upload them to. Is the mod site still accepting new mods or has it gone defunct?

I'm working on getting a site and will eventually put my mods there, but would like to get them out now if possible.
