I don't think Transcendence really has slots, in the sense of distinct locations in which devices can be installed. Here's a basic version for 1.7a1a. The turning of the ship is instantaneous which I don't like. Eventually, when I work it out, the ship will turn as you watch it. The EMP device is great. I reckon you should make a couple more of higher level that use more power but have longer range. Good stuff. You could try making a similar device that drops enemy shields like the Ram Cannon. This would be better for freighters with few weapon slots. And you can have your ...
