The playthough I just started is using the Sapphire which I play fairly often. I've only gotten 30 minutes into the game so far and part of that time is just explaining stuff, but things will pick up soon as I start looking for stuff to do. http://www.neurohack.com/transcendence/forums/viewtopic.php...

What about flashing the outer edge of the screen with maybe a bit of fade inward? That would look pretty slick without obscuring your vision.

This could work, but it would probably be tedious for the player to keep track of unless the equipment (un)install interface is upgraded to a detailed drag-and-drop style.

So far like the slot restrictions of item size. It really doesn't seem very realistic for a saphire class ship to be able to use some of the wepons out there. Also the wattage restrictions. What can a ship's wiring really take? Of course if you revise how certian items work on different ships you a...

Mouse interaction during combat would definitely be more of a hindrance than anything in the vanilla game. It would open many opportunities for TC mods but that's about it. Mouse interaction on dockscreens would be excellent but the functionality should still be available with key strokes. Multi-ke...

Certain repair items can also repair armor too badly damaged for a station to fix it as well. A trick I've often used to recover "unrepairable" armor. Then once it's repaired up to a certain point, the stations are then able to repair it. Not really a bug, but more of a realism issue.

I hate those buggers. They'll also equip any weapons that's better than their own as well.

Scavengers like to raid destroyed stations and ships for goods. They will also pick up cargo boxes of jettisoned equipment. They're not present in all systems. You can buy or find Mule autons to safely carry your stuff. Keep in mind that mules can be wrecked or destroyed. You can get to the jettison...

I think Transcendence is a lot like Diablo in many ways. Three classes to choose from at the start, finding loot, equipping items, item upgrades, random traps, quests, deeper and increasingly difficult areas, etc.

How about this. You get two options on dangerous missions. You can choose to go with no escorts or you can choose to bring escorts for a reduced award (in case you don't have enough upgrades yet to survive on your own).
