Any interest in automated generation of models+textures?
Hello, I am wondering if anyone would like to join me in using Blender+Python to explore procedural generation of 3D shapes and texturing, with a mind towards automating the process (while still having pretty results!) of creating models for our gem of a game, Transcendence. Here's a video to help y...

Re: Transcendence: why do you love it? (no spoilers)
Nostalgia hooked me, but modding potential is what really reeled me in. I used to play Escape Velocity: Override back on my old Mac back around Y2K or so. Transcendence was the first game I found that really had a lot of the same feel, and like PM pointed out, it’s free. And then I got into moddi...

Re: Transcendence: why do you love it? (no spoilers)
First game I found that played like Star Control 2 and had more than one enemy ship firing at the player, and the game is free. My primary interest in such games is to take a ship and blast whatever is in the way. Why Transcendence though? There are plenty of topdown arcade games that can be found ...

Transcendence: why do you love it? (no spoilers)
Hi all, I have been thinking (maybe 'dreaming' is more honest than thinking) a whole bunch about mods I'd like to make, and have started to navel gaze a bit on what makes Transcendence (the concept, not necessarily the game as it stands right now!) fun. I thought it would be interesting to hear a fe...

Re: ODM Civilian Crafts mod issue with Transcendence 1.5
So, could anything be done to fix it? Or is it a lost cause?

TransLISP: best way to get started?
I've been told there isn't a tutorial, but for those with experience, could you write a little about the best way I could go about getting myself acquainted with TransLISP?

Re: Thank You!
Hi George, I found Transcendence because I was trying to scratch an old itch: something that plays like EV: Nova. Thanks so much for this wonderful game (it's just what the doctor ordered!), and for your *epic* take on the top-down space genre. I loved playing through 1.5, and have already started a...

ODM Civilian Crafts mod issue with Transcendence 1.5
When this mod is enabled (http://xelerus.de/index.php?s=mod&id=1250), whether or not all other extensions are deselected, non-player ships do not move from the Eridani after 'gating' in. Can this be fixed?

Black Market expansion mod issue with Transcendence 1.5
Hi -- I just wanted to bring attention to the fact that the Black Market expansion extension (available on xelerus: http://xelerus.de/index.php?s=mod&id=1296), which seems *very* interesting, doesn't work with 1.5. It throws up an error (something to do with a missile) as soon as you try to start up...
