Re: Formal Decrelations

Hear the words of the Auroran Hegemony:

It is with regret that the Hegemony must distance itself from the AoFK, respecting the debt owed to the Imperium for their actions during the recent Bugz outbreak.

Here end the words of the Hegemony.

Re: Anacreon Era III Discussion Thread

I've very much been enjoying the last 40 days as the Auroran Hegemony, particularly the recent conflict. Funny how in this day and age of graphics cards with more processing power than every supercomputer in the 60's combined, a game who's most advanced effects are yellow lines and dots zapping betw...

Re: Anacreon Era III Discussion Thread

From the Auroran perspective, here is a breakdown of the mistakes made during the Rift War and subsequent invasion of marauding insectoids: - Having completed its most recent cluster in the South East, 10% of TAH forces were dispatched to a distant outpost at the edge of the Great Rift, to continue ...

That too, but at least you can screenshot them, even if it does get a bit much if there is an alliance planning something or an extended cold war. But there is no workaround for having to click tens of thousands of messages .

Re: Server may be slow on Friday

There is a bug with the dark nebula layers being overlaid on top of each other flagged as priority on Ministry, which is still occurring in Era 3. There are entire sections of the map in which ramjets are bugged and cannot be issued commands . This is the only major bug so far, although the gamepla...

Re: Optimal tech level for efficient empire building

This is some great number crunching Imperator and it supports my personal, less spreadsheety observations. I totally agree with the whole lowtech vs hitech ship numbers but I think a better way to go about it would be to greatly raise the attrition cap for lowtech ships but leave production untouche...

Re: Anacreon Beta II Discussion Thread

This is extremely weird. I have a map screenshot from cycle 4024 of the current map that clearly shows the original Mesophon worlds (they are all the ones without bubbles as theirs was the only cap I hadn't found at the time). They have clearly expanded. Take a look: http://i.imgur.com/98lmbtX.jpg M...

Re: Anacreon Beta II Discussion Thread

There are a few promising little empires starting out right now. I worry for Great Slothia though. The Wolf Raiders right next to them are already making Eldritchs and the sloths haven't even designated the worlds they've taken. The APD is looking promising in the little hidden away nebula pocket ne...

Re: My thoughts on the game

I really want to try this now. I agree about the infantry issue but you could go 1 Law&Order cap 1 jumpyard for your pirate base and still defend it with bought cyclops. If you had the imperial guards from Law&Order you could gain a lot of ships taking over people's under-defended caps. The more I t...

Re: My thoughts on the game

Another option would be for stockpiles to attract pirates, NPC fleets that would travel around the galaxy and descend on unprotected worlds to haul off or destroy stockpiles without actually conquering the planet. How about allowing raiding as a hostile action? So if you beat the space forces/groun...

Re: Anacreon Beta II Discussion Thread

This is glorious. The tyranny of having to remember a list oaf planetary naming conventions and tediously type them out is over. I will now claim planets with the immortal ⚛.
