It is one of the most arbitrary tags on xelerus. Basically it means that the mod has been reviewed to a certain degree by one or more of the xelerus admins, and has found to be of good or great standard. That means that it is mostly bug free, that any graphics included are good, that it is balanced ...

Ahh. No way to change that apart from getting a hold of Bimbel. Or keep a copy in dropbox for yourself.

i have all the proper stuff installed, on 1.08b, yet it crashes still when i dock with the stations. any clue on how to fix this? i can post my debug file if needed Curious. I wonder why the tests were considered necessary. If I understand it correctly, OnUpdate is tied to a specific item anyway. There might be any number of OnUpdates for any number of items, but each OnUpdate event, when it happens, refers to a particular item. In our case, (eq gItem itMinersCargoHold...

Not game related : If you want to talk about technical issues : there is a section for that. If you have other interests in the board other then the game : remove yourself. Your analysis is quite spot on. Indeed, the indenting could have been a bit better in that example. The best place to see what functions are, is on xelerus.de. In this case, 'gr' is 'greater than'. gSource and gPlayerShip are global variables (therefore the 'g'). gSource always points to the object ...

@matix: i think you are referring to the standard BattleZone mod. It should be working now. If you get crashes on docking, it is because you don't have the DSF version from xelerus.
As for BattleZone - Simulator, I just went over it and fixed it for 1.08b.

Minor update. The DS action no longer has a hardcoded position, making it more compatible with other mods and adventures.

A lot of modders have already given free access to their code. So, as long as you don't copy a mod wholesale and claim it is yours, you should be ok. If you have been heavily inspired by another mod, then give credit where it is due, and you should be ok as well :)
