Engine changes I'm working on will likely make Luminous drones more effective when their velocity is similar to their target's. They might be too nasty if it sometimes isn't possible to outrun them. I don't think I've ever hit the back 50 percent of a Wind Slaver. Considering 1 hit from most weapons destroys them, the effect of 1 more segment that is unlikely to ever be hit would be negligible.

Britannia's classic armament is decent, although they should have a way to reload their launchers. Isn't that what the reload method handles? I never really looked into it. Sandstorm should lose two armor segments (from four to two) and gain at enough speed for at least .22c, but .25c would be bett...

Classic drones are not that slow, with .20c and can spin on a dime, Anything .20c or faster(virtually any ship by the endgame, and most base playerships) will have the drone constantly facing towards them, unable to do any damage, as long as they are drifting away. It still feels like something that would excessively complicate the interface, especially if the player is expected to configure it. A ROM that let the user press a secondary key to highlight the interior compartments of on - screen enemies might be useful, though. It'd be useful to all players, and...

I believe the game ends in the Jakarta system. I have used a map ROM and found no forward stargate. I have yet to encounter any Star Destroyers, so I've got to wonder where I'd get one of those.
