I meant why have guards at all? Since Korolov seems to be short-staffed for fighters, it seems more likely that you would be asked to make deliveries without any assistance since you are well armed already.

Better yet, you should be able to offer your services in transporting goods.

Transcendence is too interface intensive for a wii. The wii just doesn't have enough buttons. I think a HBC version would be just fine and the Wiimote has 6 buttons and a D-pad and the nunchuck has two more buttons and an analog stick. The analog stick and one button could be used as a function sel...

A Wii port.. That's a pretty decent idea. Anyone know how to make games for Wii?

Yeah. It's been a long time coming, but believe me, I'm not complaining. It's an amazing accomplishment for a lone game developer to finish (or even half-finish if you consider the plans for ver 2.0). I can remember when I still used my Commodore 64 and I was going to make a pacman-like maze game, I...

The playthrough I'm on right now, I got the 100MW reactor and a X-Ray laser only a few systems in - before Rigel even. It's pretty powerful at that point with a laser colliminator.

Cann you Digg it?

I've put Transcendence up on Digg. For everyone that has a Digg account, please give it a digg.

I can agree that at least during the melee, there should be no enemies with total immunity to any one type of damage.

If I were a shield manufacturer, I'd get a leg up on the competition by adding one small bit of code into the shield unit's processor: if(shieldStrength = 0) { powerOff powerOn } Except that it's the shield processor that needs to be rebooted (in this context). Now, that doesn't mean such code coul...

It makes perfect sense to me. It's the equivalent of forcing your shields to "reboot" as opposed to trying to automatically recover from a crash. It's also a nuisance enough that it seems like a good counter to the shieldsdown attack.

You shouldn't have to do that....it should be possible to either hear it at the local pub, or find it in a ROM somewhere. Oooooo! The Pub! I hadn't thought of that, but that would be a great idea!! So you randomly run into someone in the pub that offers you a handy tip if you are willing to part wi...

Great tips! I think some of these hints should be hidden throughout the game (maybe in the form of rare data ROMs). That would be a post-1.0 project though. For someone that doesn't know the game very well and hasn't seen any of the hints in this forum, putting a few hints here and there within the ...
