It seems to work in Opera 12.00, though there's not a lot there. I suppose if someone knows enough about browsers that may narrow down what's causing the problem.

I cant sign in both with the Transcendence "client", nor browser (chrome/chromium). That means I cant load any savegame from 1.08b (obviously missed 1.08c) or create a new one to submit a score.
Caching scores - or even the ability to play games created while signed in while being offline too has sadly not been implemented.
I guess that means I cant really test this release till at least the login works again.
For now I cant load any of my previous games created with 1.08 and later.

The people who are having issues logging in, there is something about the json data that the game sends that causes the server to return 'null'. I'm not sure why or how it happens, but thats what I've noticed when I try to login occasionally.

Small typo but SysIsKnown is:

Code: Select all

(sysIsKNown [nodeID]) -> True/Nil
when you try to get the function.
The N should not be capitalized.

It's still sending stats to Xelerus though o.O

It should work for all non-debug games (maybe that's the problem).

In Settings.xml you can change the host and URL to point to your own servers.

Sir George, how to implement linked weapons, even without PM's linked weapons + and playership drones [which they have it]?

In the longer runs, if we have the decent code, we can save alot of UNIDs, giving us more configuration freedom.

You're late to the party on that one. That was in 1.08c. In the future feature requests should go in ideas/brainstorms or on bugtrac

Also, all the login troubles should probably got here. No point in having a subforum for tech support if all the tech support stuff winds up clogging the announcement thread.

It didn't seem to be working when using the custom server, perhaps its a fluke. I haven't been able to test on ideal conditions till now so we'll see.
