One last test before 1.0. Unless there is a major bug, this will be it. Please give it a test and let me know if there are any crashes.

I was hoping for floating point arithmetic so I could do better otherwise impossible vector maths :(

a little appreciation for the creator making updates at all would be nice.. but i guess nothing satisfies you. thanks for the updates, george.

As always, thanks George.

And, Psycholis, you can't please everyone all the time. Floating point math would help a lot.

Too bad we can't use the arbitrary precision integer-based floating point math that Fractint uses.

Thank you for the newest release, George.

By the way, what ever happened to "Buster;" I rather enjoyed trying to save him from hordes of angry Charon Pirates, but I cannot find him in subsequent releases.

Buster belongs to UGW, not vanilla trancendence.

Anyway, I love the new starfields. Thanks!

Thanks for the updates, George.

I realized what took me so long to find the RC updates was that I just kept checking the neurohack main page for Transcendence updates, and never saw anything, so I never checked anywhere else (including the forums).

The one thing I haven't brought up yet is that when in a melee at the Arena, you can end up fighting an enemy with a laser deflector, while only being equipped with a laser. Should this be considered a game flaw, or a user error?

The only way out, as far as I know, is to self destruct.

I've noticed in the arena that it will warn you sometimes that your weapon can't penetrate the opponent's defenses and ask if you are sure you want to fight them.

Yeah, but this was in a melee. I had no way of knowing.

Also, I noticed a problem with the starfield:

I can agree that at least during the melee, there should be no enemies with total immunity to any one type of damage.
