I've noticed that overtime the engine's compatibility with old mods is slowly breaking down over time, so mods that may have worked previously might have just.. stopped working correctly in newer versions.

Did this set of exact mods + part1 + CC ever work correctly on 1.9.2?

My Friend, Please, My name is in the credit roll.
I know what I am doing here.

I understand what you are curious about , however, with my copies and playing experiences I have rarely had to tinker with someone's work to update it for a version.
However, you are correct that with order changes, insane ideas of development by brilliant minds .. things do get interesting.

For me, It's just possible that one day I'll have to break down and upgrade my computer.

It’s not dead, no, it’s just always been very slow on development — and slower still due to other commitments George has been under recently. He also still does his weekly Twitch streams on Thursdays at 6:00pm Eastern.

fair enough, but it does seem like it has disappeared, i've been playing for a very long time and i don't remember it all going quiet like this, maybe it's just me.

Yeah, definitely not normal.

But then, I have been played this game for over two decades now, for free. Can't complain even if George stops developing this game.

Even with the weekly streams and the discord, everything does feel slower than normal. Glad I'm not the only one to think that. It used to be like turtle mode but now a days its even slower... Its very sad tbh. I loved this game, and the continued development, but with the lack of releases and community discussions on the forum, it doesn't paint a very positive picture. Discord is great and all, but not everyone uses it, and sometimes its easier to browse a forum to get a sense of progress. The streams are nice but tbh they feel kind of fake with the commentary, to have George talking like he honestly doesn't know the potential outcomes of the situations... smh.. at this point, years in, the player base full knows what to expect in certain systems of an unmodded game.. idk maybe I'm being too critical? Been waiting for the next major release for a while now.
