I'm curious as to what the worst (most difficult) random situation you've (any and everyone) ever encountered in the game.

Personally, I think you'd be hard pressed to beat this:

Note: Zoanthropes don't seem to attack the Sung, and vice-versa.

Note 2: It took roughly four seconds for me to get on that planet from their firing range, and I was at full strength.

Technically they should, seeing as the dwarg and sung are enemies.

Take this as a reminder to use the targeting rom on every set of enemy stations you come across before you get too close :D

Sucks when you don't find one. Sung citadels are a little late to have not found a corporate outpost, but not impossible. Or the tissue paper EI100 delivering the order could have been killed.

They really should use an EI7000 deep in dangerous territory like that... Especially with those ridiculous markups.
