Then systems later someone called me an old-timer, to which I almost replied with an universally understood finger symbol (understood even by the Iocrym, since it can be binary represented with a 1 stuck vertically on top of a 0).

Jenna calls you Old Timer... She is a wingman you will get doing military missions. I suspect that by the time you reach the point you pick her up her calling you an "old man" has more to do with your experience. Of course once you have her you will find that her ship is a bit weak I suppose this reflects her new-found desire to go to the core (she doesn't have experience). Later she bemoans the greater distance from home again a sign of her inexperience.stealthx wrote:In the Eridani system, I was asked of my ship: "Did your mom and dad buy it for you?" So my questions are: How long does it take, in experiential time (as in really physically travelling), for the journey from Eridani to Heretic? Do we get old by the time we reached there?
