i think i will start with some wall paper i was making... but stalled doing it when my pc ran out of resources, i have one of a brit fighting a chasm as well.... but i think that might be for next month

Alright that is pretty awesome, I could imagine that as a game ad on the web, or as the opening, but that seriously looks awesome. I'm not sure if its because I know what those ships are already or just because its a lot of ships that are shiny. But it does look pretty cool. Great work SDW!

*shrug* Cobbled together with Luminous (for the galaxy), the forum logo (cropped), and the ships are from the resources that TransData extracts (as I don't use TrueSpace so I don't have models). Placed together in Paint.net.

From SM&M, the S2 Perseid missile was originally a multitarget weapon. Then this happened, and I rather quickly took that line of code out of the mix. I do actually like the effect very much....but it was too overpowered.
From early in my modding the never-released Antares Q-Ship fires two of its side-mounted Dual-Hellfires (also never released) at my ship. These weapons got dropped because they killed computers, but not before I'd made an even more insane version.....*ahem*:

There's really not much I can say about this, except that I canceled it, and that that shot was fired by my own ship (fire, then GoC and screenshot from the middle of the blast). The concept was good, but implementing it as particle-type projectiles....had its own disadvantages.
When the 3 key sticks when you're about to do a super-rapid-fire test of Messenger 5 missiles to see how accurate they are......you end up with one hell of a spectacular (albiet one-sided) battle. Especially when using something like the plasma streamer as a primary weapon.
There's a bunch more, but those are probably the best. Looking at some of them, I do wonder how the hell I got SM&M balanced....

I know that overriding Trans ships have lukewarm reception, so I decided to keep that to myself. It's got the same firepower as a Katana, but more firerate to make it look like a machinegun. In Space.

SIDE NOTE: The particle shield is going to be a big pain in the neck to recreate with sysCreateWeaponsFire.....
My second pictures is alot better - it's a simple wallpaper, but elegant and good looking. I hope everyone likes it. Resolution of 1020x768, so should fit on most monitors (or you can easily use MSPaint to change it to a 1280/1366 res).
Made using Luminous on High-Graphical Quality. If anyone wants, PM me and I'll give you the exact settings. Again, using the transparent logo from the forums.
The other day, I was testing my "mining pulser" weapon (area effect/mining) to see how balanced it was;
(This is meant to be the level III version, and isn't even meant to deal damage to ships)
I also found out that nothing says "love" like "massive space pirate genocide";
I was initially going to carve a J and an M into the 2,600+ corpsepile, but I made a big cut with my SUW and blew them (and most of the heart) to bits D:
