But thats silly!
Haven't you ever heard of the "Law of Conservation of Detail"?
If george bothered to mention it, there was a reason for the mentioning, especially something as prominent as that.

Well, they have been cooped up on a ship for days-weeks. Maybe they were drunk and saw the sun through their green beer bottles
Perhaps the point is that even the Sisters of Domina sometimes get drunk and have hallucinations.

Maybe at the time they were using the Blue Shield - Domina Sustain prayer and they looked at a yellow sun!Drako Slyith wrote:Maybe they had green glass on their windows?

That has got to be the best "the sun is not actually green" theory I have heard yet.

Of course, there really isn't much contest in that category...Wolfy wrote:That has got to be the best "the sun is not actually green" theory I have heard yet.(TPs)

Well, considering he's about the only one who took it seriously...

Actually, our sun is classified as a yellow star. If it was a white star we would probably either freeze to death or be flying away from the sun then freezing to death. Red, same thing or we could also be burning to death, blue probably burning but it depends. Anyway...

Yeah, radiation is energy released by the degradation and breakdown of unstable elements. No color. But I suppose that the nuclear waste would have a color, but just like all mass has color. No glowing aura.

Actually, color IS a result of your eyes detecting radiation (of a specific frequency); of the electromagnetic variety.
And things emitting ionizing radiation can have a visible blue glow, due to particles traveling between the C(vacuum) and C(in medium), causing them to emit a "sonic boom" of light, hence the blue.
Also, some radioactive waste is green, and it is sludge. But it doesn't visibly glow because its not high level enough, and the green color is merely from metal oxides & other ionic compounds from the chemical constituents of the sludge.
