The new version is in the foreground. The old version (originally created in 2002) is in the background. The changes are subtle and almost invisible in-game, but I think it will look better in hero shots. Plus it makes more sense from a practical perspective: you can now get from the cockpit to the cargo bay without a spacesuit.
