Yeah, same here...... I've been kinda lax about stuff, but I've got my reasons. I'll try tomorrow, if I don't take it, then SOMEONE do it.Solar Geo wrote:I didn't forget so much as not have a clue if we were actually sticking to schedule or not anymore >.>

Ok. Starting now. let's see.....
Update1:
-We have Ares now. i've killed a pair of convoys, and the guy who looted/scuttled the wrecks of one of 'em. Outpost is dead, so I'll look around again.
-Volcanic asteroids. We're gonna be rich.
-Our current setup sucks against ventari.
-I've been giving stuff to Dvalin: Just got the Akan 600 off him.
-I haven't sold ores yet.
-Bought a couple of robots to repair the armor...the ventari hurt us, badly.
-We're losing autons quickly now...once Ventari and Ares turn up, they're not worth buying unless they're EMP's....so I'm only gonna keep those ones and let the rest die. 300Ds are nice for killing luminous, but that's way off, and really, it's not worth the trouble.
-There's another trading post here.
-I'm buying random enhancers to try and ID them (I want a bushido enhancer), and I longzhu'd our starcannon up to +70%. Still not very good against stations. I miss the Mk.3.....

Bushido enhancer is the only think that uses the level 7 unknown type.Shrike wrote: -I'm buying random enhancers to try and ID them (I want a bushido enhancer), and I longzhu'd our starcannon up to +70%. Still not very good against stations. I miss the Mk.3.....
Also, because the Starcannon is pseudo-WMD nothing will help it against stations except increasing the firerate, which it's now too late to do.
Literally is the new Figuratively
Yup, I know. It'll help keep the escorts out of the way though, and that's currently the problem for ventari.
EDIT: Ok, sorry guys, I'm gonna have to finish my turn tomorrow rather than tonight. Stuff came up. But hey, I'm sorta making progress. Ish.

Done!
I mined out the inner system. Sold some of it. The rest is in reserve for if we need more credits, or if we get to ringers early. I've also got some medical stuff there, and fuel.
I also grabbed some ceralloy and the like from earlier caches, although there's still stuff to get from back there. I got extra fuel from St.K's....gems of despair can be VERY useful.
Our fuel and ore is sitting in the citidel in the inner system, along with the medical supplies I've gathered to give to the fleet. There's quite a lot, so don't forget. A reminder: This place has Dvalin, and the next thing he'll give us if we bring stuff to him will be his not-so-good armor.....followed by the Ion9.
I reinstalled our Mk.3 so we can kill bases faster, and got a bushido enhancer. Which drains fuel VERY quickly, so only turn it on when we need it, 'kay? At least until we can get an enhanced SN2500 or something. I've shut off everything we can afford to run without for now.
Next turn starts with our auton fleet and rama (who has an empty hold now I've freed our slaves), sitting by the gate to the maharashta system. Nice name. Hope the place is as good.

I think we should eliminate all mods that aren't necessary. I'm not used to playing such a bloated game. The difference in speed is noticeable for me. Maybe just a couple.
As a side note - the sapphire sucks.

Here's the save.
Not much happened, although I had a bit of trouble with the Ventari and the Dwarg fortresses. Befriended the Huari, but I didn't want to get to Huaramarca during my turn. Here's a nice screenie of the shootout between me using the Behemoths as shields and the Dwarg fortress: Apparently I had killed all of the reinforcements and the defenders of the fortress, so I won

Played my turn through, events as follows;
[IC]
On arrival to the system was greeted by the welcome sight of the CSC Arctica, one of the medical CSC's of the commonwealth fleet. While not having missions, the Infirmary would be glad to have any medical supplies that can be spared, our autodoc being held for possible future use.
After cruising round the system for some time, I found several manufacturing plants, and the exotic Ringers, with huge amounts of defensive equipment far beyond our current.
There were also several enemy installations, including a rogue asteroid base, easily dealt with, a Ranx Outpost, which yielded an experimental shield generator apparently dubbed the "Lazarus". I blockaded the Ares outpost and Commune, blocking multiple transports of goods and weapons, before weakening them with long-range ion fire and destroying the bases with the Dwarg Howitzer.
Out of the wreckage I salvaged two weapons that should prove of great use in the future, but currently may put an unacceptable drain on our reactor; first, a Polar transport yielded an Advanced Tritium Cannon, and in the wreckage of one of their turrets there was an intact positron cannon as well. There were also many lesser weapons which have also been placed in our stockpile in Jiang's Star.
Also recovered were a couple of hundred Ares micronukes, which will prove invaluable if a launcher can be found.
[/IC]
RPC should have the file to upload
