XD So I guess you rely on the Mammoth series.
Nope, I hate those ... it's Invincible, Plasma, Iocrym Veil all the way.

Wait, why the iocrymn veil? I always use the Jottun, faster recharge and health (although it s power consuming) and if I play with the player fleet I use the Heroic shield.
BTW: in my newest game I saved up all the plasma injectors I could get my greedy-little hands on, so now I have a Ranx Dread equiped with two linked Naichi Star cannons (like dual kattana's only better) and an Ares Plasma Archcannon with 690 damage per shot That almost insta kills full shielded Phobi and it DOES insta-kill fully shielded Diemos'. Now I scavenge for Nuetronium ore with which I SHALL make an armor segment (gotta make that stuff easier to get I have like 30 and I have already killed sooooooooo many teratons/Polaris'/Ranx Dreadnaughts to get it) IDK why because it will be almost useless to me since I am in a 24 segment ship, but I wanna.

I'd try to get something that can fix neutonium plate if I wanted to use them, as it is almost impossible to repair in stations. (Nanite shield :))

The Jotun is far too gimmicky for quick tactical flexibility, I'd stick with Mammoth->Kaidun->Iocyrm Veil route or the nanite shield with transuranic/disintegrate-proof armour if modded.

As soon as possible I get a Ranx Dread with a Nanite shield, so repairing shall not be a problem.
Right now I have a complete set of massive tharsis plate and I know not of a very strong armor with disintigrate-immune (just iocrymn plate andTransuranic) so maybe we should fix this in the next succsesion (is my spelling ok on that?) since I will be joining in.

Use armor repair kits. They repair any armor, even if armor is overtech or supposedly beyond repair. Ranx gunships carry armor repair kits as loot, and they can be farmed.

I think we have some mod-stuff that is both tough and disintegration immune.... If not, just go full neutronium/Iocyrm light armour/transuranic/etc with nanite shield, and all should be set. BTW it's "succession."

Thank you for the spelling help! And also I have yet to see a single plate of nuetronium armor in the five-sic years I've been playing. I have also never been in the Hauri storyline, and I just recently saved Point Juno and got the Lamplighter for the first time. And I consider myself kind of a vet (well kind of but not really) I've been playin T since 1.01 came out, I was like 9 I think...

Plus, with how rare Nuetronium is. How the hell am I gonna make four segments let alone 24?

As far as I know, yes, but I haven't yet. There is an option it extrude nuetronium ingots and I don't want to ruin the fun by looking at the xml. I have almost 30-something nuetronium ingots, but I still can't make one segment, which is why I am asking hpw I am going to make 24 of them.

IIRC: you can't make Neutronium armor, not even with the latest beta of miningpack.
and if you could: it would take 64 ingots per plate

Well thats just great. No nuetronium for me then. HMPH and 64 segments WHAT THE HELL. Nuetronium is ultra-uber rare there is no way that there is even 64 segments in the game!

64 Ingots per segment, not segments per (what were you going to say?), and if you play with uncharted you can mine every system for great profit, or just vanilla with DySys you can with some difficulty farm high level ships which carry rare ores as loot.
even so you'd be hard pressed to get 128 (two plates) in vanilla, but then it was never the intention to be able to make armor in the first place.

I meant ingots, and I have been farming Phobi, polars, and Ranx Dreads to get nuetronium whilest also having several EI heavy plasma torches linked I now have over 200 ingots and I have to sell them all away to the ringers, bit by bit. ALL THAT HARD WORK
