Title says it all!
:D

Seeing as the old guides are a bit out of date, I decided to take the oportunity to start working on a new, more in-depth guide... Still, I need to play and explore every nook and cranny of the new version.

sure, just as long as the project isn't as ambitious as the modding tutorial I tried to make (and got about 1/3 of the way through)

Who wants to do what?
I guess I'll write about the enemy ships... ie, how good they are, how to beat them, etc...

F50's modding tutorial is neither in need of tweaking nor out of relevancy. It could use some more sections, but this is the type of thing that grows and evolves with the game.

Are you making a game play guide or a modding guide? Sounds like a game play guide to me.

I might lend a hand on updating some mod information- many of my projects actually have been made obsolete with the new functions and features that George added.

I think all we need in terms of a modding guide is a small update to what already exists. What I'm working on is primarily a gameplay guide to replace the old unfinished and outdated one

can you provide a link to the outdated one so I can see what level of detail we are trying to achieve?

You plan on rewriting the Captain's Primer, eh?

well, not really, but I suppose I get the gist of it. The only thing that needs re-writing in there is a little bit on centauri. Then we are looking to expanding to a full game-guide
I need to play and explore *every* nook and cranny of the new version.
EDIT: realized I missed the point and didn't manage to re-write my post before the post below

The Captain's Primer does need rewriting. But a seperate guide would also be good. I think that having a spoilery and a non-spoilery version (the primer) would be kind of nice.
