Ok, so you said (george that is) that exiting the stats screen occurs on any key or mouse click; yet using arrow keys or ctrl+c doesn't seem to do this, except on my main computer, where it seems to automatically exit for no apparent reason.
Can you bind exiting specifically to "esc" or a mouse click??

ctrl-c is for copiing and the arrows for navigating so naturally they don't exit the screen!
All others DO exit the game stats screen (mousclick, esc any other alphanumerical key)!
