Canonically speaking, what's near Sol?

Location: At the VSS Shipyards in the frontier, designing new ships.

So as to Sol & the surrounding systems, what's there, and what is the general levels they encompas? (Ie, what factions and the like)

Well we know its a stargate that has yet to be shown to us from SK
And it would be fun to develop a mod to extend that.

Actually Sol doesn't connect directly to St K. But there is a "branch" of the stargate network there that takes you towards Sol.

As far as star systems nearby, theres Barnard's Star (Dwarf), Proxima/Alpha Centauri (Binary, technically TRINARY system), and Sirius (A Class).

Sirius is home to the digital metropolis btw
