station and items apperances per game

Could you give us a new station apperance list (ie a black market station will appear 2 times per game)

Also it would also be very helpfull if we had a list of how many times an item will appear per game. That way we can tell if it is just our games (games take a while to get through so it is hard to play enough to say what is the average) or it is a problem with the balance.

I think it's all too random for specific numbers. One game I found a Commonwealth Fortress before Charon (and frequently thereafter), while others I had to wait over a half-dozen systems after St. K's to find one.

no George did make a program to put numbers to it. The old numbers are on the UTF (don't ask me what thread though).

We were discussing the RNG, station generation, i think you can find it in utf technical help, maybe in general. Last post should be dated in or later than june 2005. Come to think of it, meanwhile the station generation list has undoubtedly changed.

No... the Lazarus shield is still in the game.

Had been in my 8th game...

Gunned down every ranx fortresses & outposts....
every ventari stations as well... but still no lazarus shields....

Since it's still in the game, how can i get/find it?

I normally find Lazarus at Ranc Fortresses.

Note that they're not actually written into the fortress, like the QAC is. The Ranx fortress simply generates sufficiently high-level loot, or it did at one time. I don't know, I didn't look it up, but I have found both of mine in a Ranx fortress.

I never find (but finished game) lazarus, invicible shild, reismaister launcher... and other rare items.
Why not add new station for (very)rare items (around 8 items for stations + ammo) with name like Gustavs antiquities.
I known about Thor wd, but rares are really rare on this station.

I recently played a game where the Visual Upgrade ROM was generated only once in the entire game - I spent hours hunting for one before finding it on sale at the very first station in the game after a LOT of backtracking. There were only 2 anarchist gatherings in the entire game, as well (one patch of about 4 stations, and one solo anarchist station in another system).
