Wouldn't it be convenient to receive some recognition from the Fleet as being able to dock and deal with them as long as you've been helpful for them in the role play of the game ?
This could be true earlier while bringing medical help to the first CSC you meet ... A Military ID would be nice , same way you get Centauri rice barrels when you free a CW Station at the beginning of the game ...
