speedofsquid: if you need help, post in shipyards or come to IRC. Prophet, Alterecco and Atarlost are really helpful when making mods!

Also, who plays with other people's mods? I do, and although I don't post much feedback (due to modding and excessive deaths), wish that others could post some constructive feedback onto mods. This was brought up when Sdw195 said he had no responses to Base Defender and I realized that most people who sign up for the forums are modders, not players.

I have Base defender but have not had the time to play it: it's Alaska: the sun goes down at 2am and up at 4.....
I enjoy DySy, Datal's BlackMarket, playership drones, stock playable ships...If it worked for me I use it eventually: I am still trying to get into the Network and with DySy files in the folder it has been fun but I get side tracked.
When I came to the Forum I was a player.....YOU PEOPLE gave me the impression that my Ideas and thoughts could be expressed and that is when I started trying to do the .xml......Since then I have researched, died, killed my ship, blew myself up with a Ares Stealth Mine because I forgot which red crystal was the one I wanted......

And when I thought I had a good idea, I asked for a Unid.....35 downloads, no rating, no feedback to my first attempt to add to a game some ideas I had. so I know the feeling of lack of feedback.

I created Trans (that's you, George!) 6% 6% [ 1 ]..........
IF George is only worth 6%?.....then that suggests the remaining 94% are his late nights at the computer but they can't vote

I am a strict player, not a modder. I just don't do computer languages. >_>; I also haven't been playing as much lately due to an influx of Duke Nukem Forecver (I waited 13 years for it, dammit!) among others.

I'm definitely a player but it does not mean I'm not interested in modding. XML is still Greek to me. Besides I'm still having a hard time in trying to post my stats and achievements. GRRRR.

C++ or Visual BASIC I'm still trying to master and other low level languages so why not mark-up languages?
