Missions Question

Hello, I've been playing Transcendence for awhile now (mostly with mods) and I think this is a fantastic game. And its suprisingly addictive.
I quess my question is, are there any more missions beside the couple of habitat missions in Eridani, the mission to save Mr. Katamari (did I get that right?) and then the research stuff in Heretic? I ask because this seems to be an awesome game universe, and the missions really seem to help with the immersion into it (instead of just blowing up stuff).
As a bit of a side note is there anything out there about the differant factions? I'd really like to explore the Transcendence universe more.
Too bad there's no way to add a RPG-lite system to it (hmm, maybe a pen-and-paper version?).

The name's Katami by the way (we have a crazy IRC bot that bears the same name... but hopefully is not related).

There are black market missions, CW fortress and CSC missions to do as well, but the BM missions are kinda lame from what I heard, CW fortress missions are not cool when the freighter you're escorting as made out of paper and prepare to be slaughtered by some capships when doing CSC missions .

As for exploring the universe, it gets to be almost like grinding after St. Kat's but that's because content isn't really made for those factions... yet.
There is the Official Ranx Extension, but no ETA as of right now.

If you mod, you could even just make an RPG system for Sandbox.....
