Hi guys!
I've been out of the transcendence loop for a while and i was reading some of the posts in the forums and it got me thinking..
the meteorsteel armor is the one that prevents use of shield generators, and many times I've been unfortunate enough to have dusted my armor with an unidentified barrel which contains meteorsteel dust which disabled my shield generator somewhere deep within ares territory..
i was just wondering, what happens if you apply some meteorsteel dust on a meteorsteel armor?
does it get any bonus for the extra meteor?
has anyone ever tried this?
meteorsteel on meteorsteel ?

Regardless of armor, applying meteorsteel dust either adds no-shields to unmodified armor or removes the beneficial mod from modified armor.

yep that real problem happened just days ago when i looted a complete set of hexacarbide armor, thinking i got ion barrels but got meteorsteel dust instead(imagine getting almost 20 barrels of level V loot). my question is why can't it be washed out by degenerating nanos?

It could hardly have been expected by the patentees that such a wide range of ingredients was necessary to generating the damask routine upon steel...
