help on Xelerus

Game version 1.08f.Does this mean that the mod only works on that version of the game or what???.

game version indicates which version of the game was used to test and design the mod.
for most mods, more recent versions of the game are fine and working. For example a mod designed for version 1.01 will probably work well with any version after it.
This is true for most playerships mods and simple device mods.
some mods,however, using extensive scripting and features, could be broken and not working on more recent versions of the game.
If you find a mod that is broken, please post about it in shipyards or on xelerus, I will then mark it as a "broken mod", or, if it's one of my mods, I will be glad to update it
