So here we are, no comments from George in months, and all of a sudden he jumps out of nowhere like http://24.media.tumblr.com/bbcd474739f9 ... o1_400.jpg and gave me a heart attack with with a side order of soiled underwear.

So now I ask you, the community of transcendence, what is going through your messed up little nerd minds right now? What are your thoughts?

Any progress on (my brief wishlist)?
* Part II
* .png support
* AI that can pilot 40+ facings and/or overburdened ships

Do we submit all bug reports on the forum now that trac has been shut down?
Download and Play in 1.9 beta 1...
Drake Technologies (Alpha): More hardware for combat in parts 1 and 2!
Star Castle Arcade: Play a classic arcade game adventure, with or without more features (like powerups)!
Playership Drones: Buy or restore exotic ships to command!

Other playable mods from 1.8 and 1.7, waiting to be updated...
Godmode v3 (WIP): Dev/cheat tool compatible with D&O parts 1 or 2.

I'll definitely look at the problem with 40+ facings for the next release. I'll set up a temporary place on the forums to report bugs once I'm in bug-fixing mode (which should be in 2-3 weeks).

I don't know about .png support. It's certainly possible, but not a high priority for me because there is a work-around (JPEG + BMP mask).

Part II is a high priority, but is going to take a lot longer.
