Svalbard Explorer not completing

woooaah guess what?
so I managed the speedtyping, everything was correct and spelled, but it said Nil again, so i got kinda mad like screw it, and blasted the guy
And they were still in the wreck, they didn't get mad at me, told me to carry them back to the control point! I can go on with the quest YEAH man i was stressed
anyone who has this problem, just take it out on the explorer itll fix it :D :lol:

Oh nice, though wrecking the svalbard does mean you have to complete 3 of the missions instead of 2, unless you want to just farm iocrym drones for the plot item drops

You might be able to find someone on discord who is more familiar with the mission system and can provide you with a script to simply close out the mission and enable the others.

If anyone wants to look into this, I think there is a bug affecting the creation of the Svalbard Explorer when you enter the system.
It gets created at the system center (over the star) whihc means the 'pos' value for the ship creation code is being set to 'nil' or (more likely) the code isn't running properly so is returning a 'nil' value. I suspect this is where the bug is. It should be created somewhere in the system well outside of the quarantine ring.
Also the ship order is set to 'gate'. I have seen this happen before with created ships. I think this is a default setting for created ships which are not given a proper order when created.
That is a couple of areas for people to look at which might help.

Also I like that the moral of this story is "if all else fails, blow something up"! :D
