Can't play music file

- Location: Hmm... I'm confused. Anybody have a starmap to the Core?
Ao if a music file has non english characters Transcendence can't play it as music like ONE OK ROCK 「完全感覚Dreamer」. I was looking forward to using Neuros Media Player to set it as battle music but then it didn't show up after filtering the list with uiCanPlayMusic

This is likely because internally it would be using ascii strings, thus you would need the filename to be restricted to ascii characters.

right, the game's programming is in C++ and in all likelihood was not designed to account for unicode or something that isn't ascii - it can be done, but.. its a bit of a pain from what i understand, especially to go and implement it for a small section
