Dizzy Ships and Nil

Couple posts back I was talking about my ship randomly spinning. It seems the spinning is contagious and its not on the guarding ships of the common wealth. Not quite sure whats going on but they just start spinning in circles where ever they are randomly.

Secondly on the selling dock screen it was replacing credits numbers with Nil.
But I was not able to make this occur again.



Of course most of these issues have most only happened on one system but I'm not quite sure why these issues so far come up with any frequency on this one system alone.

To quote someone on the gpgnet forums... "It'd be the intermittent errors that would worry me the most"

If you can get a random, out-of-the-blue occurence of these errors, that would make them virtually impossible to track down.

I've had the prices nil before, can't say when or why, but it wasn't too often, I think a restart(the game) may help.

It's probably a mod overwriting the buy/sell screen or price determining functions.

You could also test to see if your memory is having errors, though that would probably have many other side effects.


as for spinning ships, I've had a ship fly circles around something when it's thrust matched it's turning speed, trying to dock or gate but failing.

I had the Nil issue once too. Can't say what caused it, but I know it was a certain piece of equipment that was causing the problem. I think it was a pierce of armor or something. Ever time I crossed over that item in the sell window, they'd start offering Nil for everything.

I thought that this problem has already been fixed.

wasn't this bug caused by the insurance bug ?
