Possible Luminous Bug

So, I've been farming Luminous, looking for shields, etc. I've been using a Hanzo, all the friendly ships in the area use particle damage...but they only show up with blast shields. Every time. All of the random spawns in this system have had blast shields too. I'm not sure what's going on, but I'm pretty sure it's glitched somehow.

That's odd. The Luminous in my games will always base spawn with various defenses as they should. But I have noticed that whenever they spawn from the gate, they'll be equipped to defend against whatever weapon I have sellected/using at the time. An easy kill just by swapping to another type of installed weapon.
