I was just playtesting this shield to see something and when I set it to level 4 it doesn't show the corresponding power usage. This could be deceiving (for the pilot) because the shield no longer uses that much power at level 4. I think it adds 60 MW of power per level, so level 4 would be 300 MW which is a hefty amount for a level 9 shield (the most of them all). Even the 800 HP Kaidun shield (which is my favorite in-game shield) uses less power.
Anyway, just saying that the true power usage isn't being shown when you up the level of the shield. Could be fatal to users of the Koshiba 500 when suddenly their Jotun drops.
