crash on displaying a freighter in main screen 0.99

I was just pressing "n" to see the ships of the game and transcendance crashed.
I downloaded the game again and the crash always happen a few instants after displaying a standard playership freighter.
There is nothing in the debug.log and the error is a generic one:
